We're currently in the process of updating our website and bringing everything up to speed. Right after October we got swamped with orders and the chaos of the holidays. New fall scents coming soon!

We are hurrying and scurrying to finish preparing for fall which has snuck up on us this year. It's hard to believe that this Friday is the first day of fall, especially when temperatures in Phoenix are still in the 100's. Even though cooler weather hasn't arrived yet, the arrival of fall means that soon, all of us in the valley will be able to breath a sigh of relief as the temperatures begin to drop and we can enjoy the cooler weather. (Isn't it interesting that "Fall", also coincides with the time in Arizona when everyone is anticipating that the temperatures will soon "Fall".)

We have many new fragrances for the fall season that I hope everyone will enjoy. I hope to have most of them made and ready to sell this weekend at all the farmers markets, and I can't wait to show them off! I plan on doing a more in depth post once I finish photographing all the new candles, but for now, here's a preview of the Fall lineup.

Candeo Candle is going to be taking a break this weekend to prepare for fall. We will not be doing any farmers markets this weekend, but we will be returning next weekend hopefully with many of our fall scents!

Where Will Candeo Candle Be This Weekend? (08/20/11-08/21/11)

We will be at Roadrunner, Gilbert, and Ahwatukee Farmers Market this weekend, and hopefully the weather will cooperate with us as well. I'm excited because we finally got new vinyl banners for the booths that have our logo on them! Now it will be really easy to spot us :) For the weather, Saturday is forecast to be a high between 101-106F with the temperature around 86F at 7AM, increasing to 95F by 11AM. Sunday is slightly cooler with a high between 101-106F, and a temperature around 86F at 8AM increasing to 94F by 11AM. All I can say is get there early!

Where Will Candeo Candle Be This Weekend? (08/13/11-08/14/11)

We will be at all of our normal farmers market locations this weekend, and we are stocked up and ready to go for tomorrow. The weather forecast is saying that there is supposed to be a high of 104F tomorrow. However, at 7am the temperature should be around 85F, and by 11am it should be around 95F so if you get out early enough you can beat the heat!

New Candles and Lip Balm!

We have two new products to announce! First, we would like to introduce a new smaller 4oz candle tin. It burns 25-30 hours and, for the upcoming weekend we are going to be selling it for only $6.00. It's the perfect size for someone who likes to buy multiple candles so they can have several different scents.

Next, we would like to introduce our line of lip care products! I have been working on the formula for these lip care sticks for 4 months now, and I have finally perfected it. As a lip balm addict, I can finally say that I will never be buying any other lip balm again. Our lip care sticks are made with natural unbleached beeswax, wheat germ oil, coconut oil, lanolin, avocado oil, and natural essential oils. There are currently two scents to choose from, Lavender & Rosemary, or Spearmint & Peppermint. Both choices are extremely soothing and feel wonderful on your lips. With the lip care sticks, I find that I don't have to apply it more than 2 or 3 times a day, and my lips haven't been chapped since I started using it which is saying a lot for me! These will retail for $3.50 each, and are going to be available at the farmers market locations this weekend.

I'm going to be working on adding these products to our website next week, so keep an eye out for them. In the meantime they will both be offered for sale at our farmers market locations!

Where Will Candeo Candle Be This Weekend?

This is a segment that I am planning on doing every Friday to let our customers know which markets we will be attending for the weekend. Occasionally I have a sick child or something else that comes up and prevents me from attending one of the markets, so this way you will know for sure where we will be. The one thing that isn't keeping us from attending the markets is the summer heat. We have been braving the heat all summer so far, and plan to do so indefinitely. Don't forget to bring your 25% off coupons this weekend!

I have decided that the best way to keep Candeo Candle customers up to date is with a blog. I am planning on updating the blog every day, with information about new products, farmers markets, news, and other interesting segments that I will decide upon as I go.
